About me

I was drawn to nature, natural healing and the spiritual world from a very young age. It wasn’t something that I gave much thought to at the time. Then of course, you grow up and life happens. So, I put all of those feelings and beliefs on the back burner. As adults, my sister and I used to share “ghost stories”, and other spiritual experiences that we would have from time to time. There was no one else to share those things with, because no one else understood or believed.

Fast forward to my early 50’s. I once again picked up a camera. I had always had one since a young age, but just another thing that got lost during the events of life. I started doing a lot of landscape and nature photography. I started reconnecting with nature, and my belief that nature is where I connect to Spirit. I didn’t know it then, but the journey had started. 

The more I connected with nature, the more I wanted to do and learn. I had started doing some studying on my own at first. I was collecting crystals, and other tools for healing. I started doing classes with different people for healing. I went to women’s weekends that included Shamanic healing and equine therapy. I met a Reiki Master and started getting Reiki healing. I worked with another mentor and attended her cacao ceremonies with Shamanic journeying. I finally got to the point that I wanted to be able to do these things too. To help other people heal, and pass it on.

The first thing that I did was Reiki I & II class in 2018. Then in Nov 2019 I was invited to be in a 3 year Shaman apprenticeship. In February 2023 I completed my Reiki Master and Master Teacher certification. 

In early 2024 I learned about SRT. Had a clearing done, and I was hooked. I wanted to learn all that I could, and I knew that I wanted to be part of the SRA team.
